SR. CAREER ADVISOR
Virtual - Strategic Enrollment Non Title IVOpportunity:
The position advises students regarding career issues and strategies, job search methodology, resume preparation, internships, and other job search-related matters for graduates.
This position manages a graduate caseload while also completing additional tasks that could include sourcing job leads, creating career-focused content, facilitate and develop job search training, and/or partner with other Career Services colleagues to meet the needs of graduates and their employment goals.
Responsibilities:
Student Advising:
Provide in-depth and customized advising on job search topics including resume, interviewing networking, and career advancement to graduates who wish to collaborate with Career Services.
Uncover the latest trends and best practices that help improve the service provided to students.
Advising happens via phone, email, and web-cam.
- Employment Training:
Create, develop, and facilitate interactive and engaging career webinars that help support the goals and overcome the obstacles of graduates from DeVry University and its Keller Graduate School of Management.
Job Lead Generation:
Identify appropriate job leads either through existing leads in the Career Service database or within the graduate's local, desired market and distribute as needed.
Help graduates maximize their job application efforts.
Work with the Employer Relations team to generate needed leads and partnerships that will influence graduates.
Data Management:
Input and manage performance metrics and caseload actions through the Career Services data management portal.
Metrics to include actions made toward graduate (appointments, calls, emails, etc.) and effort toward job lead development.
Project Creation / Management:
Career Services Leadership assigns special projects and can include managing career fairs, running student webinars, or piloting specific department initiatives.

Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required, Masters preferred
Must have 3+ years of experience within Career Services, Employer Relations, Human Resources, and/or Talent Acquisition
